GT Cars Series - BMW M6 GT3

BMW M6 GT3 made China GT debut in Sepang in 2019, and has already claimed two pole positions, one victory and a podium in the opening two rounds.

The M6 replaced the BMW Z4 GT3 in 2016, and went on to win the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours in its maiden season.

BMW M6 GT3 is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, sending 585hp of power to the wheels via a sequential six-speed racing gearbox. This will work seamlessly with its transaxle drive concept, racing ABS and powerful motorsport electronics.

An enhanced aero package is part and parcel of the racing grand tourer, accompanied by brand new lightweight body kit. Carbon-fibre is a prevalent feature, including the exterior, crash structures, the centre stack. The race spec has removed all the non-essentials from roadster, taking the car down to 1,300kg - 625kg lighter than its road-going M5 counterpart.

In 2019, FIST-Team AAI is fielding three BMW M6 GT3 cars, piloted by Taiwan’s renowned gentleman drivers. They also enlisted BMW factory driver Nick Yelloly and rising star Jody Fannin to aid their championship bid.
